Okay, so, nevermind for the moment. The deals below went back up.

Last night we had the A7ii with a bag and memory card for $1198 and the A7ii with the 28-70mm for $1398. The regular A7ii body only without a bag was still $1398 though.

The ads from Google are still showing up on my computer as below, but the bottom one for $1298 was $1398 last night.

I have some links above. When that price drops someone has to let us know so we can pull the trigger. $1298 is insane low!

Picked up my A7ii as Open Box from Buydig for $925. I think at the time new ones were $1098. (End of February, 2018)

Wait for Father's Day sales :)

I thought I posted the Wednesday, but this has been on sale again for the past few days. I think the last day is today. Get yours!

Well, six months have gone by and we have another great sale at B&H! I refuse to buy from Amazon because over the years everything I've gotten from them has a defect. This has happened so much that I believe Amazon is getting some discount from manufacturers due to them being willing to take products that don't pass 100% quality control (a small scratch, sticky button, etc).

Either way, good deals here again at B&H!:

Note that you can choose to get or not to get the free SD card and case. Price doesn't change. If you go for the $998 option with the 28-70mm lens you get upgraded to a 64 GB card instead of the 32 GB that you get with the $898 option.

I pulled the trigger and couldn't resist getting the lens for only $100. I don't know if I'll use it much because my plan was to use only adapted lenses and after a while go for the $200 50/1.8 and then maybe the $450 85/1.8. At least now I don't have to scramble to order adapters just to use the camera!

    Congrats on your purchase.

As far as Amazon, I have found it helps to pay attention to who is actually selling the item. There are a lot of items sold by others, with Amazon just acting as a storefront. If it is a costlier item, I always choose to either go with a known vendor behind the sale, or have the item stocked and sold by Amazon itself. Otherwise, you could just as well be on ebay (or even worse).
