    Hey guys,

I'm configuring the #1 and #2 custom settings on my A7 and one of them I'd like to have aperture priority and auto shutter...but I was wondering if there is any way to limit the minimum shutter speed. I see that many times it chooses shutter speeds as low as 1/4 and I don't want that.

Shoot in Manual mode? Set the shutter speed, leave it, adjust the aperture for your desired DOF and let Auto ISO take care of the exposure. The Sony A7 is great with its Auto-ISO (my Canon 5D Mark II couldn't set upper and lower limits for the auto iso). If you are concerned about noise (which you really shouldn't because I think 12,800 is totally useable), you can set an upper limit to the ISO, so when it blinks in your monitor or finder, you can adjust your shutter speed to compensate for the ISO limit.

I'm not sure of a way to set limits on the shutter speed in AV mode. The Sony A7's imaging logic is pretty bad at handling shutter speeds. Seems to like 1/60s a lot.
