    Very cool, literally and figuratively. Did that bird forget to fly south for the winter? Nice shots, of the lens and trees.

    Very nice images from a cool old lens. Is it difficult to shoot hand held? I have a Minolta MD 200 and I find hand held whilst manually focusing, especially when using focus magnification, it can be a challenge to keep still. I'm sure 300mm would be a bit harder.

    Yes. It's like focusing during an earthquake. I'm waiting for delivery of a 400mm lens. I'm sure that'll go on a tripod.
