Hi there everyone. I thought I would start this thread as I could not find one like it. Post pictures of or taken with your Full Frame E-Mount camera and classic Olympus glass. I'll start with a couple from my A7 and Oly 85mm f2. Both shot at f2.

The weather is not cooperating but I'll put up more with my other lenses as time and weather permits. It is snowing again! It just finished melting.

Excellent pictures. For wide open shots, this is very sharp.

But I'd suggest you change the thread title to the name of the lens, and have separate threads for different lenses. Thank you!

If the moderators want to come up with a more appropriate name thats ok. I figured this was fairly specific as not many people are using these cameras and the old Olympus glass. Olympus had so many lenses that one place to dump them might work best. My logic at least.

You probably have not browse the sub-forum, there're quite a few threads title starting with "Olympus" :)

I was playing around with the OM 16mm f3.5. I think I will have fun with this lens! As you can see my daughter was having fun with it once she saw how it distorted things.

Hi there. I finally got my hands on a couple more classic Zuiko lenses.

The first three are taken with the 90mm f2 macro and the last two are with 21mm f2.

I can't contribute (yet), but am going to sit back and enjoy the samples. :popcorm2:
I like using the OM glass on my NEX.

A few from the weekend. All handheld.

The first one is 2 photos stitched together from the 21mm f2 at f11
    1A.

The rest are with the 90mm f2 at various apertures. Judging by the depth of field on a couple one or two are wide open.

    Sure thing, Shawn.

I have some shots with the 50 1.4 here: https://www.talkemount.com/showthread.php?t=6690

and here are some shots with the 135 f/2.8 on the NEX. On my NEX6 it performs really well (at a ~200mm eq.) and is really sharp stepped down a little.
It has a useful built-in lens hood.

These shots were taken in the spring when my local birds were more intent on defending their territories than flying away from me.
    JPEGs with some PP.

This pretty mediocre motorcycle pic illustrates some of the bokeh and sharpness (wide open)

Well it ended up coming today... Along with the adapter!

Quick shots wide open shows vignette quite a bit.

For sure won't be a landscape lens.

This is made with the Olympus OM Zuiko 40mm 1:2 on the A7. These days I'm trying to capture an image of the time I live in. Things will be different in 30 years from now and I'm guessing we won't see ATM's anymore (Geldautomaat is Dutch for ATM).

Honestly? I've got a bunch (over a dozen) OM lenses that I'll throw up image samples from using the following:
    Sony A7R
    NEX-7
NEX-7 with the new MetaBones Speed Booster (OM to NEX)

But... Please don't take this the wrong way, OK? If I just start throwing them into this "massive thread" - it loses it's value pretty quickly..? I'd love to see the posts by lens type. I think there are enough OM-Zuiko users out here to warrant it - and I've posted a couple of individual posts/lens samples into this forum, and the way it's set up (not this thread, though) - is we can find image samples pretty easily for lenses we are considering..?

For example - I was about to purchase an OM 90mm f/2 - and thought I'd seen some image samples somewhere? I looked at the thread titles in this forum - and went to the "O" section. No luck... I only found them earlier today buried in this thread? Had they been their own "thread" and titled as such - I probably would have jumped on that lens.

Anyway - just from my end of the telescope...

So - selfishly - I'd love to see you replicate your posts in this thread as entirely "new threads" - so idiots like me can find image samples - rather then trying to browse what might be a massive mess of all Olympus lenses..?

    - John

I'm starting to see your logic John. My idea seemed sound at the time but can certainly see your point.

If you want to start something rather than post in here I will follow suit and break this thing up if you are able to give me some pointers on how to do so. I know just enough about forums to navigate them. Not the ins and outs.
