I don't often shoot the kind of action that the A6000 autofocus is supposed to excel at, but I had the opportunity to try it out yesterday. I went to a local fair and their was a "dockdogs" competition where the dogs competed in a contest jumping off a dock and grabbing a "toy" before landing in a pool of water below. Some of these dogs were amazing. They were so determined and couldn't wait to get up there. And man could they jump.

There were many people and I was not in the best location for framing, and there was much trial and error as I don't have much experience with action shots, but I was reasonably happy with some of the results. Even if it is not something I use often, it is nice to know the camera can perform when needed.

Nothing fancy. Just for fun. These were shot with the 55-210.

And one dog that missed --

Gotta love some dogs-in-action shots! Great ones!
