A new firmware suprise for the A6000

    I've had my a6000 for about a year now...you're right every bit helps. I started with the kit lens, and moderate zoom lens. Last August I broke my humerous on left side, and since then I've carried the Full Frame 24-240 so I don't have to change lenses. This lens needs all the help it can get with start up and focus speed on the a6000 body. Good news I don't risk dropping a lens while changing!

    Is this just for Windows or Sony not interested in Professionals who use Mac? Site does mot mention Mac users.

    The link provided originated by already selecting a Windows OS. This link gives you the option to select a Mac OS. Apparently you also have to update the Mac OS Driver Loader if you're on OS X 10.10 or 10.11.

    I havn't got around to update my y2014 A6000 until now.
    Holy cow startup times have improved. Really nice.
