Replied to a CL post about "a box of old Minolta lenses $10 each" and got... MC Rokkor-X 50/1.4 PG, MD W. Rokkor-X 28/2.8 with original screw on hood, plus a free polarizer ! Not a bad use of $20... That person also had a 70-210 (variable aperture), yet another 50/1.7, and a 2x TC. Now I need to weed out my manual lens collection, I haven't been using them much lately, having taken more interest in A-mounts and native glass. So now I have 3 wide primes in same range (Sigma 30/2.8, Kiron 28/2 and now Minolta 28/2.8) and 3 x 50s (SEL50, MC 50/1.4 and MD 50/1.7). I think I will get rid of 50/1.7, but choosing a 28 to sell will be tough - Kiron is very nice optically and faster but fairly large & heavy (relatively speaking, it's lighter than 50/1.4), and MD is slower but amazingly tiny and light.
