Not much different from these except for materials. They're just to keep minor bumps from chipping paint etc.

Believe it or not some poeple don't have camera bags and just throw camera gear in whatever bag they happen to be carrying at the time. Shocking I know, but there ya go. :)

I actually have similar pouches to those, which does come in handy when I just need to bring one lens with me with my backpack.

But for $19, I think I can just use my own socks tyvm lol.

Remind me not to ever buy lenses from your body.

    Cheers! :drinks:

I use lens pouches quite often. Ones that have a clip. I sometimes only carry my camera on a Black Rapids strap and clip the pouches to my belt loops. Very fast for changing lenses. I only do this with smaller, lighter lenses.

Congratulations Woodworks on 100 useful posts! :p

I might need more of a ....... hmmmm ..... lens pantyhose. Then I can have the 500 and 800 share the same cover.

Haha, actually I've read somewhere they use pantyhose as a filter for a softening effect for portraits.

    Fun fact?

True. Vaseline on a clear filter for a clear center spot and a nicely blurred vignette. ;)

Fact. Used this method back in the SLR days a couple of times. Then I realised Jan was getting really upset about where her stockings were going. Great for cleaning out the old paint as well :)

Gave a nice effect on shots if you knew what you were doing, unfortunately my shots proved I didn't know what I was doing :) That's another fact !!

    All the best.

    Danny.

We've just gone from pantyhose to vaseline. I'm getting very afraid as to where this thread is going.
