I shoot tethered via RCCDroidPro and lately its been letting me down. Using bulb mode and leaving the camera for an 8 minute (long I know - but there was foreground) exposure the phone would reboot and I would lose the shot. I have lost two lovely image - I saw them for 2 seconds on the camera back.

Anyway I finally spent some time yesterday and figured I have to stop the phone from sleeping. Today is a grey cloudy day so it was perfect for some long exposure work.

Great stuff. I think #2 is very nice and #4 is awesome!

I can look at long exposure photos all day long and these are great indeed Jeff!!!
I like #1 for its sharp foreground, water flow between the rocks and the moving clouds and #2 for its overall mood/dreamy look with the hills on the background and the mist (?) around them

Thanks Nick and Bimjo. Its good fun to get out with the filters particularly on an otherwise flat day for photos.

These are very good. I really need to try this sometime. Doesn't it need to be really dark? Or do you use a lot of NDs/CPLs?
