The past few days have been very productive. Other than cursing them for their prolific pollen production, most people ignore Autumn weeds. I, on the other hand, always look for them because they add quite a variety to the landscape. They also attract myriad insects to their pollen. It is interesting to stand next to an Autumn meadow and watch the bees, wasps, and butterflies swarm over the flowers. These were all taken with the Yashinon-DX 45/1.7. Enjoy.

An ocean of pollen-producing color. The smell of pollen was quite pungent while standing here.

The dreaded Ragweed! Its flowers were still immature; when ready to spew spores, all of those little capsules on the stalks will be bright yellow.
