iguazzu falls Argentina/Brazil border
rounding Cape Horn
Really nice shots Gio.
Like the people that show the size difference on the first one.
And the light situation on the second is suberb too.
Wow, the people in the waterfall shot really give you a sense of scale, which is magnificent. And the crepuscular rays in the second are among the best I've ever seen. Well done in both cases!
Both are fantastic!
Rounding Cape Horn;love it!
I think "from around" is a major understatement. I like them both but that second shot is marvelous.
wow. that waterfall is majestic!
1st one for me, thanks for making me dream !!!
I LOVE waterfall shots. One of my best and favorite shots I've ever taken is of a local waterfall. Just something about them...beauty, power, nature...all rolled into one.
Great images. Love that second one.
Chad, if you ever get out to Western Canada, make sure to spend the time to go to Takakkaw Falls in British Columbia.
There is only one way to reach it, which is by going in on a road off of Trans-Canada Hwy 1, and then you have to take the same road out. That road is also not really intended for anything larger than a small RV, as there are a couple of switchbacks on it that I have seen a larger RV take a dozen back-and-fills to get around. As I recall, it is about 15-20 miles off TC 1, and the same distance back again, but it is definitely worth the time and effort.
Once you get to the parking lot, there is an easy trail that lets you walk right up into the spray at the bottom of the falls, if you wish. Look up Takakkaw Falls on the net and you will see why I have gone back each time we have been in that part of Canada.

I've actually never been to Canada but I plan to soon. Probably this summer. I definitely look into making the trip to see Takakkaw Falls if I can.
