Yeah, it wouldn't occur to me to use a fisheye for portraits. Just goes to show, in the right hands...
Thank you guys - I would never have used a fisheye for taking portraits either, until I read a little article about the guy who developed the Fisheye-Hemi plugin. Apparantly, he uses a fisheye for weddings and group shots and decided he needed something to de-fish the shots a bit so Hemi was born. These shots of mine are just RAW edits, no de-fish - I think it really does make a difference if you avoid any strong lines in portraits and landscapes with the Samyang.
