Heres the first thread tittled so in case you missed it the first time around:

So...being that i had great success the first time around i went for it once more. Diferent couple of course, and diferent day. What did stay the same was more or less the setup
A7 with the 135 f1.8 zeiss, and a mettle 600 watt strobe theough a softbox. This time around i was at f4.5 (up from 2.5) cause there was a 3rd person in there and having him in focus seemed like the thing to do. Shutter sas at 1/250 cause kids have this weird tendency to move around, so that meant iso was at 160. Strobe was 1/3 from full power. The sun is behind them but still pretty up in the sky, so theyre almost all lit by my strobe. And i used a 2 stop nd instead of 4.

That's really nice, Lisandra! I appreciate the set-up description...I am always curious about that sort of thing. Did you use an ND filter for flash synch purposes?
(The images that people get out of the 135 f/1.8 ZA are amazing)

Yes, the ND filter is for flash sync purposes only. I have a 2 stop, a 3 stop and a 4 stop. The 4 stop is for f1.8-2.5 only, I reeeally do wish sync would go up to 1/320 or heck, 1/500.

Basically what I do is I point the camera In A mode at the background when I get to the place at the lowest aperture I plan on working, and depending on the shutter speed the camera throws at me is the filter I use. This time I measured for 3.5 when i got there and got 1/800-1/1000 at ISO 100, so 2 stops ND would do.

Hi lisandra, do you mind sharing some more of your portrait work here. Maybe set up a dedicated thread similar to what maxim has going on over at mu43.
I think those that have just met you will be blown away by some of the portraits and very interested in hearing how to achieve what you do :)
