    I've read more than a few bad comments about the Sony 24-70/4. I think it's great.

    I researched it when I got home. The tug is actually built into the barge. When it got the the end of the channel and turned, it was moving with the tug end at the stern. A normal tug pulls it into the main lake channel and cuts it loose.

    It always amazes me how these things manage to float - its HUGE!!

    Think its a case of don't believe everything you read.
    I love my 24-70, as does Kiwi Paul.
