    Hello,

Thanks to my company who sent me there for a few days I recently experienced the Norwegian summer nights...where the sun goes down around midnight and rises again around 3 AM. In the meantime it's still daylight, well kind of twilight to be more precise. This is just a fantastic situation for a photographer. I did some sunset shots, went back to the hotel for a while and was out again to catch some sunrise, then fall asleep (at least tried)
Here is the first shot I processed. More to come...hopefully as good as this one.

Great scene. But the only reason I'm getting up at 3:15 am is to pee. :rolleyes-20:

Beauutiful shot, Yannis! I did a lot of hiking in northern Scandinavia and the main reason I couldn't sleep in those summer nights wasn't the light but that all sorts of wild animals chose the area around my tent for spontaneous reproduction rituals.

Great shot! I always went there wrong time, from Sept thru Christmas time... Catching fall colors was nice too.

Do I see some distortion in the above photo Yannis?

    Nevertheless, that's a great shot ;)

Yep a bit. Need to fix it in Photoshop but could not get a satisfying result so far. LR did not help much.
The lighthouse is also actually leaning.

Slightly corrected. Not the lean but the curvature of the Lighthouse itself...thanks for pointing that out.
