I have to say I am very impressed with my first outing with the new Sony A7 III.
I still have a lot to learn about it.
This is one of the first pics I took today at a 4th of July barbecue.
This one was SOOC. It could use a little PP but not much.

Just out of curiosity, what would happen if you were to crop just the child's head and shoulders, eliminating all the other stuff? Obviously it would be a stronger image, but also I'm wondering about what impact in terms of noise, etc., a pretty severe crop like that would have..... That would be a good test of the lens and of the MP provided by the camera body.

I am truly amazed at the quality.
I'm just getting used to this camera body.

Ahh....yes, that's what I wanted to see; even fine hairs show up nicely, I don't see a lot of noise in the image....some details are pretty sharp on the Coppertone container, even though it was not the primary subject. Resolution looks good, presumably ISO didn't have to be cranked way up. So this is the 28-70mm kit lens, right? Pretty good, I'd say! Thanks, Dave!

I believe the ISO was 100.
Very bright sunny day.
The area she was in was covered by shade.
But these were SOOC.
The A7III did an amazing job IMO.
BTW her name is Haven Everly and I am GG to her.
