We went for another trip downtown and I again took the lowly 1650. Looking at the photos (quickly processed in LR, nothing elaborate) I think I will hold on to it. That 16mm FOV comes in handy. {} DSC08852 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08858 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08859 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08851 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08874 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} The Spirit of Detroit by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08871 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08860 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08855 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08869 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08865 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08856 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08857 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08877 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08886 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr {} DSC08887 by BugsDaddy, on Flickr
do you utilize a CPL? or just tune your sky in PP? either way everything's lookin awesome! thanks for sharing!
Too lazy to use CPL. Most of these just have the highlight brush applied. It may be just my imagination but I think the native Sony lenses and most manual glass tend to produce the best colors straight out of camera. I always seem to struggle a bit with Sigma primes.
Great series again! That resulte from that 16-50 look great. You have an eye for architectural photography
Thank you ! Here's the link to my whole "Detroit" set on Flickr, I think the first photos date back to 2012 or so. It's a cool city to explore, although I don't go to the really "interesting" parts. https://flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72157634202922317
