    Simple subjects but I think I'm getting the hang of this video stuff...enjoyable learning curve

    Male Cardinal at sunflower seeds, joined by a White Breasted Nuthatch
    Feeder stump at 50’...shot at 600mm

    Got to ask... How long do you spend bird watching per day!? Great results but I suspect you are a more patient man than I!

    Not every day but a couple hours at a time when I do...being retired now I'm able to pretty much arrange my day as I need to.
    I've set up a couple of feeder stations in my natural area back yard, and in some cases like this morning, I just open the kitchen window, set up the camera & tripod and have coffee / breakfast with my wife while keeping the 'remote' close by.
    I'm trying to get up the learning curve with video and like anything new, I'm hitting it pretty hard right now...will probably taper off...and can only shoot so many cardinal videos, LOL

    Nice! I have a few years to go until I reach that stage! I used to have the dream of retiring at 30, but with only 2 years to go it's looking more like 40... But one can't be too upset I suppose!
