First time trying the moon under these conditions and found it very difficult to get any sort of decent looking result.
There seemed to be a halo tapering out to a colored margin around all of the shots, I assume from the overcast effect.
The only PP I could get to have any effect (JPEG) was 74 units of 'Lightroom Clarity', which made the dark streaks of clouds stand out better.
Anyhow...I had to post SOMETHING today so here's this overcast / cloudy moon shot in B&W, such as it is.
    Canon FDn 400/4.5 on NEX-7.

I've got nothing. I don't think my Nikkor will focus at infinity on my Nex. I wasn't able to get a decent shot this morning using my Nikon either so I'm a little suspect of the lens but more so of ME!:dash2:
