Hi Travis, don't forget by going wide you will doubtless run into magenta smearing problems in the corners of the frame.

Poki, if you can afford to wait I think Voigtlander and may be Tamron and Sigma may bring some E-mount lenses out soon (not sure how soon).

Hi Penny, You should try a snap on hood; I got one from China on ebay for about £15. It folds out and provides sufficient protection from the glare from the sun.

Distortion correction I am sure I have seen somewhere on at least one website mention of distortion compensation etc but am darned if I can find it now; does the NEX-7 have inbuilt software that corrects for such distortions and abberations? This would be invaluable on the wider angle 3rd party...

Pleased that you like it Yves. The shot was taken inside a pub, The Hole in the Wall, in Torquay, Devon, England. Taken on NEX-5 with the kit zoom lens without flash, ISO 800, 1/50 sec at f5.0

Many moons ago I used to own Bronica ETRS (6 x 4.5) and Yashicamat 124 (6 x 6) film cameras. They took superb photographs. One of the joys for me was peering down into the hood at the ground glass focussing screen. The NEX is a similar experience which I also enjoy.

I see the NEX-C3 has got a good review at dpreview as well!

Hi Hugg. I think it depends on what type of photos you take; for sports and action a camera with a traditional viewfinder is probably best. I find that for the types of photos I now take (i.e. nowt moves about too quickly!) the NEX screen is ideal.:D

I agree with the above comments; I have a D200 c/w 16-85m DX lens upstairs just "gathering dust", I haven't used it in over 6 months or so. My main concern with the D200/delight with the NEX-5 is the weight issue, the NEX-5 is so much lighter and easier on the shoulder to carry about compared...
