Shot Using Rodenstok 105/5.6 wide open
Other samples using Contax 90/2.8 wide open
Lens clarity helps a lot on the high quality pixel !
Nice portraits! I like the character of the Contax lens rendering too.
I love B&W
Shot with a CV Nokton 50mm 1.1 wide open
Deltic 55022 "Devonian"
Taken with NEX-5 and Voigtlander Color Skopar 20/3.5
Contax G Carl Zeiss 90mm f/2.8 Sonnar T
It is sharp wide open:
It will be a nice lens for the higher MP nex cameras.
Voigtlander Color Heliar 75mm f/2.5
That lens is extremely sharp. Very nice.
Yup! That is sharp and a half!
Industar-61 on a NEX-5.
I really want one of these Industar lenses, but not sure if they all require customization work to make them effective on the Sony. @Alowisney your pictures really do demonstrate great quality with the Sony, excellent work!
Mine had to be CLA'd (cleaned, lubricated, adjusted) because it felt like it was full of sludge and sand. During that process of repair, it was also checked to make sure it focused properly. I just put a Rainbow Imaging M-39 adapter on it and it works great on the NEX. I would suggest buying from a dealer like Fedka so if anything goes wrong with it you can get it replaced. I had a great experience with Fedka and have never read anything bad about them. You can also check with Oleg with OK Photocameras. Oleg is outside of the US though.
Edit to add: Don't forget about the EXCELLENT Contax copy lenses that came out of the USSR. The Helios lenses are amazing, I keep meaning to get one (or two)!
Here a sample taken with my samyang fisheye...
And other one...
Alright, I don't have anything as nice as the Contax glass but here's a rokkor 58mm f1.4:
Nice shot Jaime
