If I remember correctly, Tomioka did made lenses for Yashica. When Zeiss and Yashica started CY camera business Yashica acquired Tomioka and both Contax and Yashica lenses were made there. There are some rumours that Yashica 135mm/2.8 was made by Tokina.

It doesn't seem to be a CCTV lens cosmetically as it has got a nice focusing and aperture rings. Optics may come from a originally CCTV lens but I doubt it as it has 6 lenses in 5 groups and filter diameter is 49mm. Interesting lens anyway. Maybe it is a Chinese copy of a old SLR lens.

Rf-603 models are camera specific, will work with any flash. You will need adapter from rf-603 to the flash however.

Sorry no, RF 603 II, RF 605 and YN 560-TX work fine in my Nex 7 with adapter.

Maybe the rf-603 won't seat completely. Easy way to check this is to use permanent felt tip pen and blacken the central connector pin. Insert the RF-603 several times and see if there is scratch in the central pin.

There are several different remote shutter connectors for Canon there. There is RF-603 C1 & C3 but I think that there is no C2.

RF 603 isn't compatible with Sony cameras. RF 603 II is. The previous can be modified to be usable.

I think he is trying to measure photon noise in dark parts of image. That way you could compare sensors in one important aspect 'what is maximum ISO where dark parts of image don't have too much noise'.

I have the Zeiss Contax Sonnar 85mm/2.8 and it is very good. For shallow DOF I have Samyang 85mm/1.4. That way I have a fast lens and good resolution lens but not at same time.

You need some optics to transform a 35mm lens to be usable on 1/4" sensor, kind of Speed Booster that takes into account the existing lens (like the BeastGrip has).

That isn't certainly everyday lens. I am quite happy with Contax Sonnar 85mm/2.8 too and even happier with Samyang 85mm/1.4 (serves as a 85mm/1.4 and 50mm/1.0 with lens turbo). Price is quite heavy and a ff body might be better option for me.
